This one gets right down to it; No preamble. And this time, it grabs you by the heart. At last end, our little creepy couple was getting it together, they were seemingly happy... and things were looking up. Of course, here in the spookshow, things don't stay quiet for long.I remember being a preteen watching the movie Stigmata with my BFF. We both had nightmares all night, and became a little obsessed (in a totally respectful and fearful matter) with the idea. I love that this book delves into it so perfectly.
I still refuse to read these books before bed. I. Just. Can't. But I can't not read them either, because they are Just. So. Good!
Creepy little girl spirits are the worst, right?!
This one might be my favorite since the first. Tom just keeps getting cuter and cuter (you know as cute as a mute, bleeding, legless child ghost can be), and Billie's relationships with those outside her little bubble are thriving. I always want more, and I'm always terrified of what can be hiding behind the cover of the next book.

When Mockler's brought to the crime scene to determine what went on, it all seems so odd. The man has been killed with a Rosary and shows signs of the stigmata. What or who could be causing this?
Tim McGregor does it again! I could not put this book down and I tried to read as slow as I could so that I could make this story last. This was a rollercoaster ride from the beginning to the end. What I thought would happen never did and I got many surprises. I enjoyed every moment and surprises along the way. This is a must read.... xoxo smooches!!!
I have been fortunate enough to have found this series in the seventh chapter. I say that because that means I was able to enjoy Billie and her cohorts for a while before the wretched wait for the next round.
I have read this series three times as I reread each time the new story comes out. Each time it is wonderful. I love the care Mr. McGregor takes with his characters. I can feel what they feel and almost want to be a part of it. Considering the subject matter, thats saying something.
I eagerly await the next round. Mr. McGregor, you have done well!
There are eight of the "Spookshow" books out now. Tim McGregor is a wonderful author who knows how to write characters in such depth and with so much feeling you start to feel you know these people in the real world. These books are so good, It's hard to believe a major publisher has not picked them up. Filled with supernatural scares, mystery, ghosts, good guys, bad buys, and a bit of romance for good measure; all you need for a few weeks of great reading are these books. I absolutely love this series, I’m so glad I came across it. I love the way Tim McGregor writes. You really get to know and care about the characters. It’s been almost 2 weeks since I finished the entire series and I am still thinking about them and checking everyday for book 9!!! Seriously try these books you won’t be disappointed! This series is in my top 3 series, right up there with Charlie Davidson grave series and the ellie jordon ghost trapper series. I can’t get enough of the spookshow!
This book had me at the edge of my seat, holding my breath, trying to read as fast as possible just to see what was going to happen next. Love, love, LOVED the book. I really hope there will be another book. I can't wait to find out what happens next with all the characters. Will Cordelia ever get rid of her sisters? Can Gantry some how use his knowledge and skills to get Cordelia her sight back? Who will be the next person to accidentally stumble into something haunted or cursed? In fact, now that I think about it, it would be really cool if there was a story about Gantry's niece somehow ending up in trouble and Gantry and Billy have to go 'across the pond' to save her. Just a thought. And what about Jen and Adam? If I remember correctly Billy's friendship with them was stained and Jen had a real hard time believing and accepting Billy's ability. Yep, I can't wait for the next book!!
These books are never dull. I've evaded writing a review until now. I owe this author one. I stumbled across book 1 and continued through them all. I've never met or heard of Tim McGregor until this series popped up on my suggested lists. I'm glad I did and I'm so very happy that the author has so many supporters. Billie is my favorite down to earth character, as well as all her friends and acquaintances. If you like reading about psychics, mediums, different religions and the unexplained, at least check out the first book. The Spookshow is pretty fascinating and has very good details. Thank you Tim McGregor, I had a great time reading and I hope it doesn't end.
